පැතුම් මල් විකසිත වන
හද නිවී සැනසෙන
සුබ නව වසරක් වේවා!!!

අළුතෙන් හිතන්න
අළුත් දේ විඳින්න
අළුත් පැතුම් පොඳි බැඳගන්න
ජීවිතය අළුතෙන් දකින්න

තවත් එකක් නොව
අලුත් එකක් ලෙස
හැමදා ලෙස නොව
නැවුම් ලෙසින් එය
දකිමු හැම එකමුතුව

වැරදුනේ කොතනද
නිවැරදි කුමක්ද..?
ආ මඟ නිවැරදිද..?
යා යුතු මඟ කිමද..?

සිතීමට කාලයයි
වෙනසකට කාලයයි
කටුක වූ ලෝකයේ
තවත් නිසරුව නොයිඳ

පබසර එළිය සිත කය සපුරා             විහිදී 
ඔබෙ හද පියුම පිබිදේවා          සුවසෙත දී 
එම යමු දිවියෙ රසරුත් විඳ තතු       පැහැදී 
එළැඹෙන නව වසර සුබ පැතුමකි  වොරැඳී

බෙදා හදා ගැනුමෙන් වහ දොස       දුරුවේ
කුලුණු ගුණෙන් නුවණින් සැදැහෙන් තුටුවේ
මනුදම් පෙරටු කොට සුරු විරුකම්   හමුවේ
අත්වැල බඳිමු දිරියෙන් දිවිකෙත      සරුවේ

විලෝපන බිඳැර සෝ දුක බිය           පිසදා
නැගිටිමු අපි අතිනත ගෙන විරිය        සදා
මෙහෙවර සදමු වාද බේද කම්      නොරඳා
ඉර හඳ තරු බැබළෙන තුරු සතුට    බෙදා
